In this full-time, onsite role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized physical therapy care to our patients, helping them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through enhanced mobility and function.

Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is designed to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both staff and patients. As part of our team, you will work regular hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a consistent schedule that supports both work-life balance and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized care to patients with orthopedic conditions, focusing on their specific goals for rehabilitation and mobility.
• Manage a varied caseload effectively, ensuring that each patient receives the necessary attention and support throughout their treatment journey.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating a range of therapeutic techniques.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to evaluate the movement capabilities and functional limitations of patients.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to create cohesive care strategies that enhance patient outcomes.
• Motivate patients during their rehabilitation process, fostering a positive mindset and encouraging adherence to their exercise programs.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically Web PT, for meticulous documentation of patient assessments and therapy sessions.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment strategies and modify approaches as needed.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all treatments and patient interactions to ensure compliance with legal and professional standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will serve consists primarily of individuals struggling with orthopedic injuries and mobility issues. This includes post-operative patients, athletes recovering from sports injuries, and those seeking to improve their overall physical function. Your expertise will play a significant role in tailoring therapeutic strategies that are aligned with each patient's unique needs and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid and active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia, with a clean record, free from sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in various manual therapy modalities, demonstrating a high level of skill and technique.
• Exceptional ability to design effective exercise programs that promote patient engagement and rehabilitation success.
• Strong grasp of current physical therapy methodologies supported by the latest research and practice guidelines.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in an outpatient setting, specifically within orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for efficient documentation and patient management.
• Proven success in implementing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans based on patient assessment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
