Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalized physical therapy care by designing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs and capabilities.
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring that each patient receives focused attention and timely interventions during their appointments.
• Demonstrate expertise in outpatient orthopedic care through hands-on patient evaluations and treatments, utilizing advanced assessment techniques.
• Develop cost-effective treatment options that prioritize restoring patients' mobility and enhancing their functional abilities.
• Encourage the adoption of non-surgical treatment pathways, emphasizing the importance of rehabilitation over dependency on medication.

• Document all procedures and results thoroughly and accurately using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to ensure continuity of care.
• Actively engage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journeys, fostering a supportive environment that encourages active participation in their recovery.
• Promote overall health and wellness by guiding patients in lifestyle changes that enhance their strength, balance, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our facility, you will interact primarily with adults of varying ages, including athletes recovering from sports-related injuries, individuals seeking post-operative rehabilitation, as well as seniors focusing on improving mobility and pain management. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
• An active Virginia state Physical Therapist license is mandatory, with no history of sanctions or disciplinary actions.
• Proven expertise in various manual therapy techniques and modalities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing effective exercise regimens for patients.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, ideally Web PT, for seamless patient management.
• Staying current with evidence-based practices and physical therapy advancements is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting, specifically in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Completion of specialized training or certifications relevant to sports medicine, manual therapy, or geriatric rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time Physical Therapist role ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, contingent on your level of experience.
