Regional Manager

We are hiring on behalf of our client for a Regional Manager position. This role will be responsible for driving regional store expansion, franchise development, and local operational management across the United States. Preferred Candidate Locations We are seeking candidates based in or with strong familiarity with the following markets: San Jose, CA Oakland, CA Candidates with strong local market knowledge, business networks, and experience in commercial real estate, franchise development, retail expansion, or restaurant operations are highly preferred. Position Overview Reporting directly to the U.S. Country General Manager, the Regional Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of store expansion within the assigned region, including site development, franchise partner acquisition, and local operational coordination. This role will manage three key areas: Store development and opening execution Regional operations and administrative coordination The ideal candidate will have strong experience navigating U.S. commercial real estate, permitting processes, franchise development, and multi‑site operations. Key Responsibilities Store Development & Launch Execution Manage the end‑to‑end process for new store openings, including site selection, market evaluation, location assessment, and lease negotiations with landlords and real estate partners. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support store design, compliance preparation, and project execution. Manage communication with local municipal authorities to complete city permit applications, approvals, and licensing requirements. Coordinate with general contractors, designers, and vendors to oversee construction, build‑out, equipment installation, and store handover. Franchise Recruitment & Business Development Identify and develop potential franchise partners within the assigned region. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified franchise candidates. Lead franchise discussions, including brand introduction, investment models, operational standards, negotiations, and contract execution. Support franchise partners through the pre‑opening process and regional expansion goals. Regional Operations & Administration Maintain relationships with landlords, brokers, municipal partners, and other local stakeholders. Coordinate regional administrative processes, documentation, and operational support. Support government filings, internal approvals, and compliance‑related documentation. Assist company‑owned and franchised locations with operational coordination and issue resolution. Qualifications & Requirements Based in the United States, preferably within the San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, or Sacramento areas. Strong understanding of U.S. commercial leasing, permitting processes, and retail/restaurant store development. Strong negotiation, relationship management, and customer development skills. Ability to communicate effectively with landlords, government agencies, brokers, contractors, and business partners. Fluent in English and Chinese preferred. Familiarity with U.S. business regulations, licensing requirements, and permit processes. Ability to independently manage regional expansion goals and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
