Director of Business Development | Los Angeles County | Education Construction We're seeking a Director of Business Development to strengthen and expand our client's education construction presence by building relationships with school districts and industry partners throughout Southern California. Our client is an established builder recognized for delivering complex education construction projects throughout Southern California. Known for its collaborative approach and commitment to quality, the company has built lasting partnerships with public and private educational institutions by delivering high-performing facilities that support long-term campus development and capital improvement initiatives. This is a unique opportunity for a construction executive who combines operational credibility with business development expertise. The ideal candidate has previously served as a Project Executive or other senior operations leader within a General Contractor and has developed strong relationships with LAUSD, regional public and private school districts, architects and industry stakeholders. Your understanding of education construction, combined with your network and ability to identify opportunities, will play a critical role in expanding the company's presence throughout Southern California. You'll serve as the bridge between clients and operations, helping turn trusted relationships into successful projects and long-term client partnerships. Qualifications 15+ years of experience, preferably with a Top ENR General Contractor. Established relationships with LAUSD and regional public and private school districts. Strong business development, client relationship and presentation skills. Experience with prefabrication, modular or alternative delivery methods is a plus. Stable career progression with a reputation for building trusted client partnerships This leadership opportunity offers a compensation package of $200,000 to $300,000, reflecting the strategic importance of the role and a highly competitive rewards program designed to recognize exceptional performance.
