Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, specifically focusing on their emotional, psychological, and social needs.

• Develop customized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy to address the goals and challenges of each client.

• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, implementing therapeutic techniques that are suited to the diverse backgrounds and experiences of clients.

• Provide crisis intervention services to assist clients facing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety measures.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes and treatment plan adjustments, adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams consisting of psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan for clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health topics, treatment options, and support resources within the community, advocating for their needs wherever necessary.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay current with emerging practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele in New Bedford, Massachusetts, encompassing varying age groups, cultural backgrounds, and presenting concerns. You will support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more, helping them develop coping strategies and achieve their mental health goals. Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid mental health counseling license in Massachusetts (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
