Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and families, ensuring that each evaluation respects the individual’s background and experiences.

• Provide tailored individual and family therapy sessions based on detailed assessments and identified health needs, utilizing evidence-based techniques.

• Manage all documentation responsibilities, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring thoroughness and compliance with deadlines.

• Develop crisis intervention strategies, safety and wellness plans, and relapse prevention protocols to support patients in maintaining stable functioning and promoting resilience.

• Create comprehensive discharge plans in collaboration with patients and care teams, ensuring a smooth transition during and after treatment.

• Adhere strictly to all relevant federal and state regulations, as well as Genworth Counseling Center's internal policies and procedures.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and maintain licensure.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to foster collaborative care and improve treatment outcomes.
\n
• Complete all necessary licensure and mandatory training to ensure compliance with state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field is required, leading to eligibility for professional licensure.
