Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as the primary point of contact for families, maintaining proactive communication to discuss treatment and progress.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions in alignment with our clinical model and evidence-based practices.

• Conduct Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups, ensuring families feel informed and supported throughout the treatment process.
\n
• Timely and accurately complete all necessary documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, adhering to established standards.
\n
• Utilize various software platforms, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, to manage client data and scheduling.
\n
• Participate in weekly treatment team meetings and clinical supervision, contributing to collaborative discussions aimed at improving client outcomes.
\n
• Represent Sunrise Counseling Services at necessary meetings, trainings, and conferences to enhance your professional development and share valuable insights with peers.
\n
• Independently manage your schedule to ensure the effective completion of client tasks and treatment goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on teenagers and young adults facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. You will work closely with families to develop strategies that promote healing and resilience, fostering a supportive atmosphere conducive to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current board registration (such as APCC, LAPC, ASW, AMFT, MHCA) or a psychological associate credential in the state of Maryland.
\n
• Demonstrated experience providing individual, group, or family therapy, particularly with adolescents and young adults.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in mental health treatment for various concerns, including substance abuse, eating disorders, and trauma-informed care.

• Familiarity with Attachment-Based Family Therapy methodologies is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
