Salary: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 Job Summary We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our Morrison Healthcare team and support culinary operations within a healthcare setting in Orlando, FL . As the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Culinary Department, supervising hourly associates, assisting in preparation and cooking of various food items, developing daily menu items, and collaborating with the Executive Chef on new menus and ordering. Key Responsibilities Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and controlling expenditures for the account. Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus. Produce and execute catering events. Roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team. Preferred Qualifications A.S. or equivalent experience. Progressive culinary/kitchen management experience. Catering experience a plus. High-volume, complex foodservice operations experience – highly desirable. Institutional and batch cooking experience helpful. Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends, focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, Outlook, E‑mail, and Internet. Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities. ServSafe certified – highly desirable.
