Position Overview

TruSolutions Therapy Care is seeking a committed Full-Time Physical Therapist to provide exceptional rehabilitation services at our state-of-the-art facility located in Chantilly, Virginia. This role requires the ability to diagnose, evaluate, and treat a variety of conditions affecting patients across different age groups, including neonates, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. You will be integral in helping patients achieve their therapeutic goals while maintaining high standards of care.

Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at a dedicated rehabilitation facility, you will work onsite in an encouraging and dynamic environment. Our facility is equipped with advanced physical therapy equipment and resources to facilitate effective treatment plans. Your schedule will primarily be Monday through Thursday from 3 PM to 7 PM, with a shorter shift on Fridays, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using established physical therapy practices and techniques tailored for diverse patient needs.
• Consult, educate, and train patients and caregivers on treatment plans and therapeutic exercises to enhance understanding and engagement in their recovery process.
• Conduct thorough subjective and objective evaluations, develop individualized care plans with clear goals and objectives based on patient assessments.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation for each patient encounter, meeting all regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Oversee the performance of physical therapy assistants, aides, and student interns, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and nursing staff, to coordinate care and address patient needs.
• Aim for continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction through active participation in quality assurance initiatives.
• Engage in professional development activities, seek continuing education opportunities, and contribute to program development initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus on a wide range of patients, from neonates to older adults, each presenting unique challenges and rehabilitation needs. Qualifications

• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population and possess a thorough understanding of physical therapy modalities and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
