Business Development Associate

Inner Action Media is a full-service marketing, advertising, media, and video production agency headquartered in Morgantown, West Virginia. We help businesses, healthcare organizations, nonprofits, educational institutions, and community leaders tell meaningful stories that connect people and drive results. We're looking for a motivated, relationship-driven professional to join our team as a Business Development Associate. Position Overview The Business Development Associate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, supporting sales initiatives, and helping expand Inner Action Media's presence throughout West Virginia and the surrounding region. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys networking, building partnerships, and creating opportunities through genuine relationships. Reports To: Director of Business Development Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and outreach. Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients. Schedule and participate in sales meetings, presentations, and networking events. Maintain and manage sales pipelines and prospecting activities within CRM systems. Assist in the development of proposals, presentations, and client communications. Collaborate with creative, digital, and production teams to develop solutions for clients. Represent Inner Action Media professionally within the community and at industry events. Support ongoing account growth and client retention efforts. Stay informed on market trends, client needs, and industry developments. Help drive revenue growth by consistently generating qualified opportunities. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships. Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills. Comfortable networking and engaging with business leaders and community stakeholders. Sales, marketing, business development, fundraising, or client-facing experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally as needed. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms is a plus.
