Work Environment

Our facility, based onsite in Front Royal, Virginia, delivers outpatient physical therapy services in a modern, yet welcoming setting. The full-time schedule requires dedication from Monday to Friday, with shifts totaling approximately 40 hours per week, ensuring a healthy balance between work and home life.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze patient conditions to develop comprehensive treatment plans in coordination with referring physicians.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide individualized therapeutic care, effectively addressing the specific needs of each patient.
• Deliver treatment in the outpatient setting, employing a variety of modalities tailored to orthopedic and sports medicine patients.
• Document patient progress meticulously, adhering to clinical standards and insurance guidelines.
• Maintain open communication with patients and their caregivers, offering education and resources for optimal recovery strategies.
• Meet minimum utilization goals and contribute to the clinic's overall performance objectives.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient outcomes, share best practices, and enhance collaborative care efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population you will serve includes individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions, as well as those involved in sports medicine and pediatric physical therapy. Your ability to connect with patients and recognize their unique needs will be vital in helping them achieve their functional goals and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to foster effective patient interactions.
• Proficient in computer literacy, including word processing and electronic health record management.
• Commitment to building strong relationships with patients, fostering trust and engagement throughout the rehabilitation process.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience with advanced treatment techniques (e.g., manual therapy, dry needling, etc.) and a solid understanding of current orthopedic practices are highly desirable. A history of engaging in professional development and continuing education will further enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
