Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical abilities and limitations.
• Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans aimed at optimizing each patient's recovery.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and the latest research to deliver effective interventions that address various conditions.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes, using a holistic approach to care.
• Administer therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and patient education tailored to each individual's needs.
• Provide consultations and training to patients and their caregivers, ensuring they understand the treatment process and home exercise regimens.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service and engage positively with all patients and staff, fostering a welcoming clinic atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological challenges, and pediatric conditions. You will be tasked with motivating and inspiring clients to engage in their recovery journeys, tailoring interventions to their specific goals and lifestyles. Qualifications

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• A minimum of two years' experience in a clinical setting, with a strong focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—together with excellent organizational abilities.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and general computer applications.
• A patient-centered mindset with the capacity to build rapport and trust with patients, promoting their journey toward recovery.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in multidisciplinary care environments and familiarity with collaborative treatment approaches.
• Background in advanced rehabilitation techniques and technologies.

Compensation and Benefits
