Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions and histories to determine appropriate treatment protocols.
• Design and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic methods, including targeted exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced therapeutic modalities to enhance patient recovery.
• Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes and ongoing evaluations.
• Educate patients and their families about tailored home exercise plans, pain management strategies, and preventative measures to ensure continued progress.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Provide training for caregivers and family members on effective use of assistive devices and the application of physical therapy principles in daily living.
• Stay abreast of the latest research developments and methodologies in physical therapy through workshops and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid and current license to practice physical therapy in the state of Virginia.

• Strong computer literacy for documenting patient records and utilizing management software effectively.
• A flexible approach to managing varying patient caseloads and adapting treatment plans to meet individual needs.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of practical experience in a clinical setting, particularly within outpatient rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with specialized physical therapy equipment and familiarity with guidelines for using assistive devices.
• Previous experience in conducting patient education sessions and community outreach initiatives is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually. Together with a sign-on bonus and access to full benefits, employees will enjoy flexible work schedules, including a Monday-to-Friday work week of 40 hours.
