Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and determine appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on resilience-building and trauma recovery, tailoring approaches to the specific needs of each patient.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering an environment where patients can safely process their trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated and comprehensive care, ensuring that each patient receives holistic treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, utilizing advanced therapeutic skills to help stabilize situations effectively.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources, enhancing their understanding of the healing process.

• Maintain diligent and accurate documentation aligned with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced significant trauma and are navigating complex emotional and psychological responses. Your therapeutic interventions will empower these individuals to reclaim control over their lives, fostering healing, resilience, and personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and experience with trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach towards patient care.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a preference for those experienced in trauma-focused therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous base salary, our compensation package includes:
