Job Title: MIG Welder - 1st Shift

City and State: Marengo, IL

Pay Rate: Up to $24.26/hour based on experience

Schedule/Shift: 1st Shift/5AM-3:30PM w/ OT

Employment Type: Full-Time

Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced MIG Welder. The ideal candidate prioritizes safety, works collaboratively in a team environment, and maintains a positive attitude. This position offers opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities:

Perform welding for mechanical strength in all positions.
Analyze and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
Consistently maintain high production output while meeting quality standards.
Minimize welding defects and rejected work through attention to detail.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications:

Minimum one year of MIG welding experience or recent welding school graduate.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and weld symbols.
Knowledge of welding equipment including MIG, ARC, gas welding, torch cutting, and grinders.
Strong attention to quality, accuracy, and workmanship.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
