Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using both standardized testing and observational methods.
• Create tailored treatment strategies that target both immediate and future communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Implement one-on-one speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication skills, language development, fluency, voice quality, and swallowing capabilities.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, caregivers, and family members, to forge unified care plans.
• Educate patients and their families to foster growth beyond therapy sessions.
• Occasionally evaluate and treat inpatient cases, ensuring there's a seamless transition in care from hospital to outpatient settings.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation that complies with all applicable regulations and standards.
• Stay ahead of your profession through continuous learning and professional collaboration.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is necessary if you have not yet achieved ASHA certification.

Certification Requirements

• Hold a valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, preferred.
• Achieve Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of joining.
