Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms' severity, frequency, and duration in new and existing clients.

• Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans targeting their individual needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client healing.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure the best outcomes.

• Engage in frequent collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to provide a holistic approach to client care.

• Stay informed on the latest research and treatment modalities for mood disorders to enhance clinical efficacy.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with applicable laws and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training to continuously improve clinical skills and stay updated on best practices.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and support efforts to reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily include individuals struggling with mood disorders. This may range from those experiencing severe depression and anxiety to clients dealing with bipolar disorder. The therapist will have the opportunity to address a wide spectrum of emotional and behavioral challenges, providing critical support to a diverse demographic, including adults, adolescents, and families. The focus will be on delivering empathetic, client-centered care that respects each individual’s experiences and goals.

Qualifications\n

• Active, valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience, with a specialization in mood disorders or similar conditions.

• Thorough understanding of California mental health laws and professional ethical standards.

• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check through the FBI and DOJ.
\n
• Up-to-date TB Test (within the last 6 months).
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and those experiencing learning disabilities or other behavioral and emotional disorders.

• Familiarity with addiction treatment and the therapeutic approaches used to support recovery.

• Demonstrated capacity for building rapport with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
