Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions focused on children and families coping with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Engage in crisis intervention and emergency mental health services when required, which may include being available for on-call situations during nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including clinical notes and monthly statistics, in compliance with organizational standards.

• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other community resources, providing referrals and guidance for additional support.

• Offer training and consultation to colleagues and community partners on best practices for mental health interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be children and adolescents with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders, along with their families. You will work closely with these groups to manage behavioral challenges, improve coping strategies, and enhance social and emotional skills. Supporting families through education and resource access will be a vital component of your daily responsibilities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Active licensure in Washington State as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, particularly in mental health settings dealing with pediatric populations.

• Strong foundational knowledge in mental health assessments, short-term psychotherapy, and case management.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, essential for effective patient interaction and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
