New Beginnings Psychiatric Consultation and Counseling is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. You will engage in flexible scheduling, including some evenings and weekends, to better serve our clients’ diverse needs. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at New Beginnings, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities crucial to client care, including:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources.
• Providing individual, family, and group therapy utilizing proven evidence-based treatment modalities to foster healing and personal development.
• Implementing therapies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy in your practice.
• Creating and executing personalized treatment plans that clearly define objectives and strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
• Participating in ongoing collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver cohesive care.
• Responding to crises with timely intervention strategies, risk assessment, and safety planning when necessary.
• Leading therapeutic group sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups effectively enhancing the overall therapeutic experience for our clients.
• Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date documentation to comply with ethical and legal standards in the field.

Your work will impact a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families grappling with a variety of mental health issues. Our patients often present with conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Preferred Experience
