Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, either remotely or in-person, focusing on behavior modification and positive reinforcement.

• Implement therapeutic interventions to reduce high-risk behaviors, such as self-injurious behavior or violence, through skill-building in anger management, coping strategies, and social skills.

• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and other mental health professionals to create cohesive care plans tailored to the individual needs of clients and their families.

• Document therapy sessions comprehensively, including intake assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to professional timelines and standards.

• Attend regular interdisciplinary meetings to provide updates on client progress and collaborate on treatment adjustments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children aged 3 to 20 with a range of developmental and intellectual disabilities. Through your expertise, you will play a crucial role in supporting these children and their caregivers, addressing behavioral challenges through tailored therapeutic interventions that promote development and resilience. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a closely related field.

• An active and unrestricted Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.

• A proven ability to provide positive behavior support.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to client locations.

• Ability to pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
