This role is structured around a remote work setting, allowing flexibility for you to engage with clients in the comforts of their own environment while providing consultancy through telehealth platforms. Although you will primarily work from home, you will be part of a supportive outpatient team that collaborates to ensure holistic mental health support for all clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Client Assessment: Conduct thorough initial evaluations to determine clients’ mental health status, emotional challenges, and personal goals. Utilize various assessment tools to inform treatment decisions.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs and objectives, applying diverse therapeutic modalities.

• Therapeutic Interventions: Provide various evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy, tailoring your approach based on clients' preferences and requirements.

• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document client progress towards their therapeutic goals, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.

• Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support for clients facing acute mental health crises, using crisis intervention techniques and referral resources when needed.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential client records in adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory entities.

• Team Collaboration: Work alongside other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, collaborating for comprehensive client care and sharing insights on best practices.

• Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing professional development through attending workshops, trainings, and supervision sessions to hone your clinical skills and stay informed on current mental health trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on adults seeking support for general mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and relationship difficulties. The therapist will work with individuals who come from a variety of backgrounds, ensuring culturally sensitive care tailored to their specific life experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field is required.

• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LPC/MHSP, LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

Westside Counseling Services offers a competitive salary in the range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, along with additional bonus opportunities.
