Life Carriage Counseling Center is seeking dedicated Mental Health Counselors to join our team. This full-time, remote role allows you to provide vital mental health services to a diverse client base from the comfort of your own home or preferred workspace. You will be responsible for assessing and treating various mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders, through targeted therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health assessments that help in understanding patients' unique challenges and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to provide effective treatment for individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups addressing prevalent mental health issues and fostering a supportive community among participants.

• Engage in regular collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering timely support during urgent mental health situations.

• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available for further assistance.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation that adheres to all pertinent legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients who may be experiencing various mental health challenges. Our patient population includes adults from all walks of life, including those coping with chronic stress, life transitions, trauma, and more severe psychiatric illnesses. Your role is crucial in equipping them with the coping skills and support they need to improve their overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Georgia.

• Strong theoretical understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment practices.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health evaluations and develop effective individualized treatment plans.

• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, with the capability to work effectively with diverse client demographics.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.

• Solid ethical judgment and professionalism in adhering to therapeutic boundaries.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n
