Office Manager - North America

Meat & Livestock Australia is looking for an organised, practical and detail-focused Office Manager to support our North America team. Based in Washington DC, this role will provide day-to-day office, financial and staff administration support across our US and Canada operations. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys keeping things moving, working across different systems and stakeholders, and making sure people have what they need to do their jobs well. You will help manage office administration, supplier and service provider relationships, travel and meeting coordination, onboarding and offboarding support, compliance records, invoices, purchase orders, reconciliations and budget tracking. You will work closely with the Regional Manager – North America, the wider market development team, MLA’s finance, HR, IT and legal teams, and external suppliers and stakeholders. The right person will be comfortable taking ownership, solving routine problems early and knowing when to escape matters appropriately. Our ideal Office Manager – North America has: Proven experience in office administration, business support or office management. Strong financial administration skills, including invoices, purchase orders, accounts payable, expense management, reconciliations and record keeping. Confidence using Microsoft 365 and business systems such as SAP, Concur, Palette or similar platforms. You will also bring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, sound judgement and the confidence to build effective working relationships across a small, busy regional team.
