Business Development Representative – Salesforce As a Business Development Representative (BDR) in Salesforce’s sales organization, you will generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting, manage inbound leads, nurture early‑stage opportunities, and support core sellers in identifying and sourcing net new pipeline. Day to Day Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities Manage inbound leads that are driven by outbound effort Nurture early‑stage opportunities Gain interest through outbound cold calling across a set of existing Salesforce customers and breaking into net new logos in assigned territory Partner with core seller to identify and source net new pipeline and assist with researching lines of business and personas Align with internal account team Identify key decision makers within new accounts Preferred Qualifications 1–2 years experience in business development, sales, or a related field Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and think creatively Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a hybrid of net‑new and existing accounts Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent year‑over‑year quota attainment Benefits Health, life insurance and retirement savings plan Monthly wellness allowance Flexible time off and leave policies Parental benefits Perks and discounts Paid volunteer days off and donation matching Additional benefits such as mental‑health support, paid parental leave, and employee stock‑purchasing program Compensation: The typical base salary range is $50,570–$67,665 annually, with a higher range of $55,640–$74,490 in California, New York, and select metro areas.
