Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique goals and preferences of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively support clients in managing their challenges.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all sessions in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to offer integrated care for clients, ensuring a well-rounded approach to treatment.

• Participate in ongoing training and case consultations to stay current with research findings and improve treatment approaches.

• Advocate for client needs and mental health awareness, reducing stigma associated with mental health conditions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on individuals suffering from mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will work with a diverse clientele, including homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
