VP of Sales

DataPivot Technologies, Inc., a fast growing Boston Area tech company, is looking for a multi-talented Sales Leader to join and lead our sales team. DataPivot has achieved 10 straight years of sales and profit growth, come be a part of the next 10. The right candidate must be able to perform all aspects of sales leadership and sales management within an already high functioning/growing sales team. We are steadily expanding our portfolio and team and strong leadership is required as we scale. Region Greater Boston and New England - New England focus with occasional East Coast Travel Requirements Strong industry and client relationships Track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas Professional appearance, presentation and communication skills appropriate for B2B, C-level & Enterprise Selling Individuals should have a minimum of 10 years of sales experience selling Enterprise IT solutions and a successful sales track record of managing accounts and people in a growth business environment. Critical skills necessary such as performing account planning and strategy with an extended team Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Required 10+ years experience in technology sales 10+ years experience in field customer facing sales Experience selling technology hardware or software products in A B2B environment Experience selling complex technical solutions to large companies Other Required Qualifications and Attributes Willingness to travel frequently regionally and occasionally across East and Central Time zones Excellent in person communication and people management skills Strong organizational skills and reporting skills Hardworking and motivated Ability to consistently follow up and follow through Attention to detail and ability to analyze data sets Clear, concise, and accurate written communication Driven self starter who hits their goals Salesforce.com experience A problem solver and obstacle remover Preferred Qualifications Experience in hardware or software data center technology sales Worked for a publicly traded or venture backed high tech firm in the past Experience selling within commercial budget and procurement cycles Experience with business justifications, developing business cases, and winning in a competitive environment.
