Allied Care Solution Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Appomattox, Virginia. Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation center in Appomattox, you will work in a collaborative environment that emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, developing customized treatment plans aimed at addressing individual needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions to treat various patient populations, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Maintain clear communication with patients and their caregivers, providing education on therapies and exercises to facilitate recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously in accordance with the clinic's policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to optimize patient outcomes and share insights on treatment effectiveness.
• Provide motivation and ongoing support to patients, encouraging them to achieve their functional goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact with a diverse group of patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, athletes improving performance post-injury, and children requiring specialized care. Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• State licensure in Physical Therapy is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, complemented by proficient computer skills for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a clinical setting, ideally in a rehabilitation or outpatient facility.
• Ability to establish rapport with patients and their families, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.
• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is highly preferred, along with a current CPR certification.
