Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance while still being part of a cohesive team. You will be working collaboratively with interdisciplinary professionals dedicated to holistic patient care, utilizing technology to maintain communication and track progress effectively. The operational hours for this role are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing you to align your professional and personal commitments seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Atlantic Academy, you will be responsible for:

• Serving as a liaison between clients, families, and outpatient providers, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Interacting with insurance companies for obtaining pre-certifications and managing utilization review processes, facilitating access to necessary resources for clients.
\n
• Engaging in discharge and aftercare planning to ensure the continuity of care and support post-treatment.
\n
• Providing therapeutic meal support and modeling healthy relationships with food, promoting nutritional awareness and well-being.
\n
• Delivering empathetic and affirming care tailored to individual client circumstances, recognizing the impact of intersecting identities on mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The client population at Atlantic Academy consists of individuals in various stages of recovery from substance use disorders and mental health challenges. In this role, you will work with diverse clients, including older adults, and will address their unique emotional and psychological needs. Your understanding of the complexities of their backgrounds will enable you to provide tailored interventions that foster resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must have:

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• Experience working with older adults, demonstrating an understanding of their unique challenges and support needs.

• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, including the ability to assess and develop treatment plans.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills conducive to building trust with clients and collaborating within a team.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, balancing autonomy with teamwork for the best client outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in substance use disorder treatment, particularly in a detox setting, will stand out. Familiarity with documentation and reporting procedures related to mental health services will also be beneficial. Understanding of state regulations governing social work practices is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
