Sr Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Responsibilities : The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist manages vendor relationships and the timely processing of payments according to the Finance Policy and US GAAP. The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist is also responsible for working cross functionally across departments and using excellent communication skills to keep internal and external partners apprised of payment status. Key Responsibilities And Duties Perform full cycle accounts payable functions by coding, vouchering, reviewing, and processing all types of invoices while ensuring compliance with AP internal control, policies, and procedures Process vendor and employee payment runs three times a month Review for accuracy employee and AMEX corporate card expense reports submitted through COUPA and ensure they are consistent with Razer’s Policy Review purchase requisitions submitted through ServiceNow for compliance with internal policies Prepare month-end accruals and the associated journal entries Answer inquiries from vendors and employees and resolve outstanding issues Setup new vendors in SAP and update W-9 and W8-BEN Maintain accounts payable related files and records Assist with annual financial audit by outside auditors Assist in UAT testing and contribute to process improvements and automations Prepare and generate1099 forms in compliance with IRS regulations and ensure all data reported on the forms are accurate and complete Assist with special Accounting/Finance projects as needed Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Pre-Requisites : To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting or finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience 1-3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist position or equivalent Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting Proficient in Microsoft Office. Intermediate to advanced Excel experience Self-starter and team Player with great work ethic Multi-tasker with great communication, analytical and interpersonal skills Strong time management and organizational skills with an attention to detail Ability to work in a fast paced and multi-entity environment ERP experience, SAP experience preferred Pre-Requisites : Salary Ranges: $56,940.00 - $94,900.00 (per annum) Disclaimer: Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
