Qualifications and Required Experience:

• Active Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Special Education teaching license, with the following endorsements accepted per position:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
  • Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD)
  • Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD)
  • Academic Behavioral Strategist (ABS)
  • Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE)
• Minimum two years of experience as a licensed Special Education teacher (not including paraprofessional, substitute, or general education teaching).
• Strong collaborative mindset and effective communication skills.
• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments for children with a range of exceptionalities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students in Center-Based or Resource classrooms, based on IEP goals and state standards.
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to accommodate students’ unique learning needs.
• Partner with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to promote student success.
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring.
• Engage with families and caregivers as partners in the educational process.
