Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals and groups, incorporating methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and optimize client care strategies.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, webinars, and sector-specific training to stay abreast of the latest research and best practices in mental health counseling.

• Provide compassionate support, advocacy, and guidance for clients facing various mental health challenges, cultivating a strong therapeutic alliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, many of whom may have limited access to mental health services. Your therapeutic interventions will address a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties, contributing to significant improvements in their overall mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to practice in the state of California.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical or outpatient setting.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and an understanding of client intake and documentation processes.
\n
• Strong ethical foundation and knowledge of legal standards related to mental health care.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.

• Active participation in ongoing training and professional development related to mental health practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Competitive annual salary in the range of USD 120,000 to 140,000, commensurate with experience and caseload.
\n
