Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to gain a comprehensive understanding of client challenges and develop tailored treatment plans that cater to individual needs.

• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions, utilizing well-established evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring a personalized approach for each client.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to clients in distress and ensuring their emotional and physical safety during intense experiences.

• Document therapy sessions accurately and confidentially in compliance with ethical and legal standards, maintaining meticulous client records within our electronic medical records system.

• Stay updated with the latest research and clinical trends in mental health best practices through regular professional development and training opportunities.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, promoting a holistic approach to treatment.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our programs through feedback and innovative ideas aimed at enhancing our service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will provide empathetic support and guidance, fostering a safe environment for clients to discuss their concerns and pursue positive change. Your unique ability to build rapport will be key to gaining clients’ trust and facilitating meaningful conversations around their mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCPC, LCSW-C, or LMFT in the state of Maryland is a requirement for this position.

• Demonstrated commitment to cultural competence and the ability to provide inclusive and affirming care to clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, reflective of your experience and expertise. In addition to competitive pay, full-time counselors will receive a monthly healthcare stipend and are encouraged to utilize our mental health services for personal well-being.
