Telugu Language Expert for AI Training

Provide high-quality Telugu language data and recordings that help train next-generation AI systems. This contract role focuses on correcting machine-generated Telugu transcriptions, producing natural Telugu voice recordings, creating accurate captions, and transcribing spoken Telugu with grammatical and contextual fidelity. No prior experience in AI is required, your Telugu language expertise is the priority.

• Review and correct machine-generated Telugu transcriptions for accuracy and clarity.
• Record high-quality voice samples of yourself reading provided Telugu text with natural fluency and expressive delivery.
• Transcribe spoken Telugu audio into written Telugu, ensuring grammatical accuracy and contextual integrity.
• Create and verify captions for Telugu audio and video content.
• Collaborate with the customer team to ensure linguistic quality, consistency, and adherence to project guidelines.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail when handling sensitive or nuanced linguistic material.
• Work efficiently in a remote, technology-enabled environment and meet assigned deadlines.

• Fluency in Telugu, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Voice acting ability, including clear pronunciation and expressive delivery.
• Experience in transcription and captioning of Telugu content.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy.
• Ability to self-record using a standard laptop microphone or better quality audio equipment.
• Access to a quiet environment suitable for professional audio recording.
• Reliable internet connection and proficiency with remote collaboration tools.
• Preferred, but not required: prior experience in training language models, voice-over work, or language data annotation; background in linguistics, translation, or language teaching; familiarity with basic audio editing or quality assurance workflows.

• Engagement type: Contractor, independent contractor status.
• Location: Remote.
• You must provide your own recording equipment and a quiet space for producing audio.

Pay range: $12.00 to $22.00 per hour.
