National Account Manager

The National Account Manager provides customer services for one or more new or established accounts. This role is responsible for interacting with customers on an executive level and understanding and communicating agreed upon expectations to field offices and increasing the market share of business by providing excellent service, commitment to the customer, and introducing additional services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitate and coordinate customer set-up
• Coordinate and attend customer meetings
• Discuss, understand, and meet agreed upon standards as mutually determined by CorVel and customer
• Develop/maintain account service instructions, communicate to service staff, and post on the CorVel Sharepoint
• Knowledge of CorVel's services and completion of all CorVel Product Training Modules
• Manage contract renewals/price increases; coordinate with the AE and/or management team as appropriate
• Resolve service issues through appropriate channels; elevate operations issues to local management team or Regional Vice President as appropriate
• Responsible for all aspects of collections in conjunction with the respective operations management
• Present information to assigned customers in an organized and persuasive fashion for contract renewals, service issue discussions, or additional product sales
• Oversee integrity and delivery of client-specific reports
• Maintain continuous communication with customer(s) to ensure that all service expectations are identified and maintained
• Will serve as an Account Manager (AM) mentor to assist new AM’s with onboarding and first 24 months of employment
• Compile monthly account updates and document all new service opportunities in Salesforce
• Additional duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Demonstrated expertise in managed care services such as Network Utilization, Case Management, Bill Review, and Pharmacy Benefit Management

• Reliable professional with the ability to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach
• Knowledge of CorVel's services and completion of all CorVel Product Training Modules
• Business acumen, coupled with enthusiasm and decorum
• Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
• Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to customer service
• Highly developed organizational abilities as well as strong analytical and time management skills
• Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and CRM software (Salesforce)

• Leadership presence
• Functional expertise is expected in workers’ compensation, auto, general liability, and disability management

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
• A minimum of 5 years of managed care, risk, or TPA experience
• Demonstrated experience in account management

PAY RANGE

CorVel uses a market-based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.

For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. The level may impact the salary range and these adjustments would be clarified during the offer process.

Pay Range: $83,494– $139,002
