Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing standardized assessment tools and interviews to gain insights into their challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic techniques, ensuring that each session aligns with clients' unique needs and goals.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards to enhance care coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Golden Square, you'll work primarily with individuals and families experiencing a broad range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, trauma recovery, and depression. Our clients vary in age and background, presenting unique narratives that necessitate a tailored and empathic therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold an active and valid LMFT license issued by the state of Illinois.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
\n
• Proficient in establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship through exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Exhibit a high degree of empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients’ experiences and struggles.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, ensuring a manageable caseload.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a community health setting or private practice is a plus.

• Familiarity with different therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
