Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth initial assessments to meticulously evaluate clients' mental health status and needs.

• Collaborate with clients in setting individualized treatment goals and strategic objectives for their therapeutic journey.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress throughout their treatment plans, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to maximize effectiveness.

• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and community resources, to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to client care.

• Educate and engage clients' families in the treatment process, enhancing their understanding and involvement through supportive information and encouragement.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The role of Integrated Mental Health Counselor focuses on a broad spectrum of clients, including those dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions. You will be equipped to assist both adolescents and adults and will play an instrumental role in promoting mental health literacy and resilience in the community.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
