Billing Specialist

Connell Foley LLP is seeking an e-billing specialist based in their Roseland, NJ office. This position within the accounting department will be reporting to the Assistant Controller. Qualified candidates would have at least 5 years’ experience in law firm billing activities. Experience using Elite’s 3E and ehub software as well as Excel. Job functions include: Handle all aspects of billing procedures for assigned attorneys, including but not limited to preparing transfers, write downs, write offs, time entry edits, address rate issues, respond to client inquiries, etc. Heavy electronic billing, including setups, submissions, accruals, appeals, and e-billing collections and correspondence. Modifying billing rates in the system, including setting up rate sets. Prepare various billing reports. Develop and maintain working relationships with billing attorneys, secretaries and management. Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills; organized, detail-oriented, work well alone and as a member of a team. Should be able to multi task and work well in a fast paced environment. Work with the accounting team to achieve monthly and annual billing objectives Records all communications in the document management system (iManage) Exact compensation based on experience.
