Role Description

Capital Solutions Bancorp is seeking a full-time, remote Account Manager to manage and develop relationships with a portfolio of business clients.

The Account Manager serves as a primary point of contact for clients after onboarding, helping them navigate ongoing funding needs while ensuring requests, documentation, and internal follow-up are handled accurately and efficiently.

This is a relationship-driven role that also requires strong attention to detail. You will communicate regularly with business owners and financial contacts, understand what is happening inside their businesses, anticipate issues, and coordinate with CSB’s internal teams to keep accounts running smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage ongoing relationships with an assigned portfolio of business clients.
• Serve as a responsive and knowledgeable point of contact for client questions and funding needs.
• Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business, cash flow cycle, customers, and ongoing financing requirements.
• Coordinate client funding requests and required documentation with internal operations and underwriting teams.
• Clearly explain funding procedures, requirements, terms, and account-related issues to clients.
• Proactively follow up on outstanding documentation, open items, and client requests.
• Identify potential account issues early and work with clients and internal teams toward practical solutions.
• Maintain accurate account notes, activities, documentation, and follow-up within company systems.
• Build long-term client relationships and identify opportunities to expand relationships where appropriate.
• Manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines independently in a remote working environment.
  

Qualifications

• Strong experience in account management, client service, commercial finance, B2B financial services, or a comparable relationship-management role.
• Factoring or accounts receivable finance experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Working knowledge of business cash flow and basic financial concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain financial information clearly to business owners.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple clients, requests, follow-ups, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving ability.
• Comfortable having direct conversations with clients when documentation is missing, an issue needs to be resolved, or expectations need to be clarified.
• Experience using CRM systems and common business software.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a remote environment while collaborating closely with a team.
• Prior commercial lending, factoring, asset-based lending, banking, fintech, or other B2B finance experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is helpful but not required.
