Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed preliminary interviews and curate comprehensive client documentation from assessment to treatment completion.
\n
• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health through structured assessments and therapeutic discussions.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans, tailored interventions, and recovery strategies for individuals, families, and groups based on assessment findings.
\n
• Facilitate dynamic individual and group therapy sessions aimed at achieving therapeutic goals and fostering emotional resilience.
\n
• Monitor and assess client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting interventions as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including mental health specialists, medical professionals, and social workers, to create comprehensive intervention plans.
\n
• Coordinate with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring a continuum of care.
\n
• Identify behavioral patterns that hinder recovery and implement strategies to mitigate these challenges in therapy.

• Support family members and primary caregivers in understanding and managing mental health challenges within the household.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, couples, and families facing a range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Successfully completed licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A pass score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling services.
\n
• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems, preferably AVATAR, for case documentation and management.
\n
• Thorough understanding of various psychological conditions, their manifestations, and associated treatment modalities.
\n
• Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, complemented by excellent interpersonal abilities and a caring disposition.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience addressing co-occurring disorders and addiction-related issues.

• Familiarity with prescriptive implications related to medications used in mental health treatment.

• Prior involvement in therapeutic settings where a structured approach to mental health was implemented.

Compensation and Benefits\n
