Work Environment

This position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Orlando, which is designed for optimal patient care and comfort. You will be working alongside a skilled team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic setting focused on recovery and rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, prior medical history, and specific needs to develop customized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including exercise regimens, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapies, and the use of specialized equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Continuously track and document patient progress, response to treatment, and modifications made to the therapy plan in accordance with their evolving needs.
• Regularly reassess therapeutic objectives and revise treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Assist in the recommendation and fitting of assistive devices that promote independence in self-care and mobility.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on best practices in physical therapy, home exercise programs, and the use of assistive devices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest physical therapy practices and research by participating in ongoing education, workshops, and professional societies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, and various physical ailments. This role requires empathy and the ability to engage with a diverse demographic, including children and adults with varying levels of physical recovery needs. A successful Physical Therapist in our facility is dedicated to guiding patients through their healing journeys, ensuring they achieve their maximum potential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in computer applications and documentation necessary for patient management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and agility in adapting to the unique needs of each patient.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is preferred but not required, as we welcome new graduates eager to learn and grow.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations and an understanding of various therapeutic modalities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
