Vice President Finance

Overview We are conducting a search for a Vice President of Finance on behalf of a mid‑market services firm scaling its finance organization to support continued growth and operational maturity. This role reports to the CFO and serves as a senior finance leader across the platform. The VP Finance will own the day‑to‑day finance function and be a critical partner to operating leadership across the business. Key Responsibilities Own the day‑to‑day finance operations including the monthly close, financial reporting, and the operating finance team Partner with the CFO on enterprise financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles Lead the financial side of operating reviews including monthly business reviews, variance analysis, and operating performance reporting Build and develop the operating finance team including financial managers, analysts, and business partners across functions Drive financial discipline across the business including budget accountability, working capital management, and ROI tracking on operational investments Serve as the senior finance partner to operating leadership on the financial decisions that affect business performance What You Bring 12+ years in finance leadership including prior VP Finance, Director of Finance, or senior controller role Track record in a growth‑stage services firm or PE‑backed environment preferred Strong financial reporting, planning, and operating finance skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required; CPA or MBA preferred U.S.-based with willingness to travel as needed Compensation: $225K-$325K base + annual bonus #J-18808-Ljbffr DSD Recruitment
