Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments specifically tailored to the elderly, focusing on cognitive changes and emotional well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving the geriatric population, a demographic that often faces unique mental health challenges. Our clients may be dealing with loneliness, bereavement, cognitive decline, and the complexities of aging, including transitions in living situations and loss of independence. Your expertise will not only address their mental health needs but also offer emotional support and guidance through these transitions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of geriatric mental health disorders and evidence-based practices in therapy.

• Proficient in computer applications and electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage patient files and treatment plans efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits\n
