Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care, designing customized therapy programs that align with each patient's unique goals and rehabilitation needs.
• Manage patient loads effectively, ensuring that adequate time and attention are dedicated to each person's therapy sessions.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to conduct thorough evaluations, implementing targeted treatment plans that drive positive outcomes.
• Explore cost-effective treatment alternatives, emphasizing non-pharmaceutical approaches to rehabilitation whenever possible.
• Craft and maintain comprehensive care plans that incorporate various modalities, staying updated with the latest therapy techniques backed by research.
• Encourage and sustain patient motivation throughout their treatment journey, promoting resilience and a positive mindset.
• Continuously assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance recovery effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with primarily include individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical cases, and chronic pain sufferers. Our clinic emphasizes a hands-on approach to rehabilitation, engaging patients of diverse backgrounds and age groups, each requiring tailored support to maximize their recovery potential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or an advanced Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is required.
• Possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia with a clean record, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional mastery of various manual therapy techniques and modalities applied in outpatient settings.
• Strong ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy clinic with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• Expertise in evidence-based practice, with a foundation in current physical therapy research and methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
