Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee individualized physical therapy treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring function in accordance with each patient's unique capabilities.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions through diagnostic and prognostic assessments, leading to informed treatment planning.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants to ensure the consistent and correct implementation of care plans, enhancing the quality of services provided.
• Design and implement home exercise programs, instructing patients and their families on proper techniques and equipment use to maximize therapeutic benefits.
• Administer manual therapies such as traction and massage, while also applying various physical agents to facilitate recovery.
• Regularly assess and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with referring physicians to ensure optimal functionality for clients.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries to facilitate continuity of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborating closely with other health professionals to plan and assess treatment strategies.
• Offer guidance and education to clients and their families regarding ongoing care and rehabilitation efforts, fostering independence and confidence.
• Contribute to performance improvement initiatives to enhance our service offerings and patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population of patients, ranging from individuals recovering from surgery to those with chronic conditions requiring ongoing rehabilitation. As a crucial member of the care team, you will work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, adapting your therapeutic techniques to meet the varying needs and preferences of each patient.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program with current PT licensure in Virginia.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a physical therapist, preferably in an outpatient or acute care setting.
• Current certification in CPR and a commitment to maintaining professional credentials and ongoing education.
• A strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care and improving quality of life through effective rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

Mineview Physio-Rehab Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
