MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma or its equivalent and seven (7) years of professional or paraprofessional experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, business or industry development, the travel industry or in hotel or restaurant management; or


A bachelor's degree (4 years) from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in marketing, business, merchandising, economics, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, or communications and three (3) years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, agriculture, international affairs, leisure services, business or industry development, the travel industry or in hotel or restaurant management; or


A master's degree (6 years) from an accredited college or university with a major course of study in business administration and two (2) years of professional experience as described above.


Requires possession of a valid Class E driver license.

JOB DUTIES:

Plan, process and implement sponsorships and industry programs with key industry organizations and associations. Represent the division at ag industry events, conferences, and meetings. Make presentations to promote the FFF Industry Membership Program and share FFF Marketing results with the ag industry.

Manage agriculture education activities for the division, including the Agriscience Education Leadership Program (AELP). Develop relationships with participants and the agricultural industry to facilitate communication and understanding of the agriculture industry. Coordinate and lead industry tours for the AELP throughout the state. Recruit for new classes to the program through outreach. Oversee budget and inventory associated with agriculture education programs. Manage FFA and 4-H sponsorships.


Recruit new members into the "Fresh From Florida" Industry Program by informing the industry of the benefits of the program.

Manage department and division priority initiatives. Liaison with other divisions & offices for high profile projects. Secure industry partnerships for special events and projects.

USDA State Agency's Organic Certification Cost Share Program. Contract manager responsible for federal financial reporting, narrative report and spreadsheet of operations reimbursed. Manage contract with Florida Organic Growers to ensure payments are processed and reports are submitted.

Manage Cattle Enhancement Board project. Process paperwork and ensure reports are submitted and deliverables are met.

Utilize Salesforce to maintain member database and update as needed. Create salesforce reports as requested. Enter campaign data into Salesforce for industry relations activities, as needed.

Perform other related duties and special assignments as required.
