Production Operator

The Production Operator is responsible for ensuring product quality and consistency by accurately following recipes and established production protocols for all Karlsburger Foods, Inc. products. This role also supports inventory management, order fulfillment, and warehouse management. The position requires attention to detail, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and adherence to all food safety and sanitation standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate mixers, blenders/grinders, packaging, steam kettles and related equipment for batch mixing processing.
• Weigh and measure ingredients accurately using digital and analog scales.
• Follow detailed recipes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to mix ingredients.
• Record batch information including lot numbers, weights, and temperatures.
• Conduct in-process quality checks to verify product consistency.
• Clean and sanitize mixing and packaging equipment and workstations according to sanitation SOPs.
• Rotate raw materials and finished goods using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) practices.
• Assist in unloading, staging, and returning raw materials.
• Ensure all food safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines are followed.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, quality deviations, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Support inventory and production documentation activities.
• Label containers, boxes, and bags with correct product information and lot codes.
