Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Mindful Empowerment Counseling Services, your responsibilities will encompass a variety of therapeutic practices, including:

• Conducting initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to determine their individual and family needs.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, addressing issues such as communication difficulties, conflicts among family members, and feelings of isolation.
\n
• Providing individualized therapy sessions for clients experiencing challenges like alcohol abuse, grief and loss, job stress, and adjustment issues related to separation and divorce.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s unique situation, fostering an environment of trust and safety.

• Documenting client progress and treatment plans using our state-of-the-art digital systems, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population comprising adults, children, and adolescents, providing a safe space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings. Your expertise will be instrumental in aiding families in crisis, couples facing relational challenges, and individuals struggling with personal mental health issues. Your compassionate approach will help each client build resilience and cultivate healthier coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.
