Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Approaches: Assess patients' unique needs to design specialized therapy plans that help them achieve their functional milestones
• Implement Effective Therapeutic Strategies: Use proven interventions to improve patients' motor capabilities, cognitive skills, and daily functioning
• Collaborate with a Team of Professionals: Engage with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Teach both patients and their relatives about therapeutic methods to promote continued progress outside of sessions
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical developments, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to keep patients on track

Education Requirements

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Support for ongoing education and certifications to enhance professional development

Certification Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT certification is mandatory
