Although you will be working independently, the support of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team is always a call or click away. Regular virtual meetings and collaborative sessions with other mental health professionals will be integral to your role, ensuring coordinated care and thoughtful treatment planning for our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Facilitate Group Therapy: Conduct interactive group sessions that allow clients to share experiences and gain support from one another. These sessions are designed to enhance social connections and mutual understanding.

• Provide Individual Therapy: Engage in one-on-one counseling, utilizing techniques tailored to each client’s unique background and circumstances. This involves exploring their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing coping mechanisms for daily life.

• Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to create individualized, goal-directed treatment plans. This includes setting measurable goals and adapting them based on the client’s progress.

• Monitor Progress: Regularly assess and document each client's progress through formal assessments and informal feedback mechanisms to ensure effective treatment and adjustments as necessary.

• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Team: Coordinate effectively with other health professionals, regularly communicating to discuss complex cases and align strategies for the best outcomes for clients.

Your primary clients will be young adults struggling with a range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other emotional challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• Current Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in the state of Texas.

• Previous experience working with individuals experiencing mental health disorders, preferably in both residential and outpatient settings.
