Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, allowing you to conduct sessions via telehealth. Our standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured yet adaptable schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient needs, diagnosing mental and emotional disorders with precise and considerate assessments.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating specific coping strategies tailored to each patient’s challenges and goals.

• Engage in regular follow-ups to monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide educational resources and support materials to patients and their families focusing on trauma and stress management techniques.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social services and healthcare providers, to create a comprehensive support network for patients.

• Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay abreast of evolving best practices in mental health.

• Advocate for patients’ needs, collaborating with local agencies and community outreach programs to enhance their access to necessary services and support.

• Address gaps in care by identifying specific needs within the patient population and contributing to strategic initiatives to improve clinic services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on trauma injury patients, many of whom seek assistance for PTSD, anxiety, and other emotional disturbances resulting from traumatic experiences. This population requires a sensitive, understanding approach as they navigate their healing journeys. Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current and valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) certification.

• A minimum of three years of experience working with trauma patients in a clinical setting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to utilize telehealth software effectively.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate patient interactions and documentation.

• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, Salesforce, or similar platforms is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
